EASA (European Architecture Students Assembly) is an independent event of architecture students, with an annually changing venue country. EASA can be described as a two-week long architecture festival for about 500 architecture students taking part. Over 42 countries and over 240 architecture schools are represented from all over Europe.

The theme of the Helsinki EASA event is Wastelands.
During the Wastelands festival in Helsinki the participants examine issues and possibilities related to empty, unused and wasted spaces within and around urban areas.
The first EASA assembly was held in Liverpool, England in 1981.
