News / High-end design meets technology at Cable Factory
11.06.2012
A number of Finnish companies within the technological industry make extensive use of design in product development and in developing their operations, yet they are rarely talked about from this angle.
The Hi Design 2012 exhibition presents the design work of forerunning Finnish companies.
The items on show reveal how design can be used to create functional, attractive products with an efficient manufacturing process in every sector. The idea is to offer visitors the opportunity to see and experience both products they rarely come across and to provide new perspectives to everyday products like mobile phones.
The exhibition is at Kaapelitehdas (Cable Factory), Tallberginkatu 1, Helsinki.
It is open to public between June 8 - September 2 from Thursdays to Sundays between 10-18 hours.
Entry free of charge.
