News / Interested in gardening in Otaniemi?
31.05.2012
Come out to co-create an urban farming community and hear about the Aalto Garden Otaniemi competition. The event takes place on Wednesday June 13th, 5pm-6:30pm, at Otakaari 5, Espoo.

Last year, the Aalto Garden Otaniemi competition was launched to develop Martti Levón Park, the so-called Ossinlampi area. Earlier this year, we announced Sofia Tigerstedt's winning entry, "Uomapuisto", and as we speak, the landscape architecture student's plans are being implemented. Here's where you come in: the plans include spaces for urban farming.
In order to launch urban farming activities at Aalto, the plan is to act either within AYY’s current association activities, or establish a new association.
We need you
Calling all Aalto students, staff members or Otaniemi residents interested in urban farming: we need you!
If you can’t participate on 13th of June, please email us your contact details. You will get information about the progress of the project and we can let you know when conditions are okay to start working.
