News / Wonderwater Cafe opens today at Kiasma
22.05.2012
From today until September 16th, you can go to the contemporary art museum Kiasma in downtown Helsinki, and when you visit the cafe, you'll find out how much water you're eating.

Wonderwater Cafe was first designed and produced in Beijing in collaboration with departments at Aalto University, including Aalto Design Factory. This time, Aalto students have contributed the water footprint calculations.
Agriculture is the biggest water-guzzling activity we have on the planet, but most of the time we don't pay much attention to the water that went into making our food. On top of that, some foods take more water to produce than others. But when you eat at a Wonderwater Cafe, menu items are labeled with their water footprint. Will it make a difference to how you eat?
