21.05.2012
A designer, an architect, and an artist walk in to a sustainably-built bar... Dan Hill, Toshiko Mori and Marika Wachtmeister visit Masters of Aalto on 29 May at 3 pm.

What does the future look like? Is sustainable design moving towards conventionality or specialization, and what are the implications of this in creative practices?
In the seminar "Designing for a Sustainable Future" architect Toshiko Mori, artist Marika Wachtmeister and designer Dan Hill discuss the future of sustainability, as well as talking about their own work towards the construction of a sustainable future.
The seminar takes place at MoA '12 (Marsters of Aalto) which is an annual event presenting thesis projects of new masters graduates from all Aalto University schools.
MoA’12 is open in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki from 9 May to 3 June. The festival features Masters thesis projects by over one hundred graduates.
Designing for a Sustainable Future is collaboration between the Hjelt Foundation and Aalto University.
