News / New Fashion Business competition launched
In order to encourage students to consider establishing their own fashion-related businesses, Aalto Center for Entrepreneurship proudly launches together with the Aalto Department of Design the "Fashion Business Program".
The purpose of the competition is to highlight creativity and profitable business thinking, and to find fashion business talents from all departments of the Aalto University. The idea is that multidisciplinary teams will develop not only their design, but the whole value chain of their fashion business concept.
The aim of the program is to help students and staff to develop new start-ups concentrated on fashion. We hope the relults with be fashion collections, services or other business concepts.
The competition is open to all current Aalto University students, faculty and staff. Participants must have a team of at leaste two members, in which at least one has to be an Aalto University student or employee.
The first prize is 5.000 euro + suppor in the fashion collection / products / services series / ramp-up.
Special prizes can be also given, e.g. for the distinctive features and innovative solutions.
Launch 25th April at 17.00 in Arts (Hämeentie 135)
1st check: 10th May at 17.00 in spACE (Katariinankatu 3)
2nd check: 24th May at 17.00 in spACE (Katariinankatu 3)
3rd check: 7th June at 17.00 in spACE (Katariinankatu 3)
Finals and award ceremony: 14th June in Arts (Hämeentie 135)
